Always Mesmerized- Cafe Marrcello

Always Mesmerized

Café Marcello a place where you can simply relax and enjoy a cup of hot calamansi juice

The Place

I’ve been in this place for a couple of time, and I love it. From the old type furnished of the place up to the single details of the ceiling decors of wood ornaments, old pictures of well known bands and artist which makes the ambience cozy, everything is just wonderful. I guess it’s been a relaxation nest for us in a while, where we just want to escape from the busy word of business and school works. Café Marcello is located in the heart of Imus, Cavite at 123 Gen. E. Topacio St., 4103 near the well known antique Imus Cathedral. Opened on December 1995, with 60 seats capacity on the first floor and another 60 seats on the second floor and has a stage for a live band which plays acoustic songs. It was owned by Mr. Marcello Tagle, where the restaurant got its name.

The Foods
Scrumptious and generous in terms of serving, we try some of their delicacies like the “Pasta Imuseno”, which is so addictive, that you will crave for more. This is there specialty where the ingredients are originated to its hometown Imus like its main component the “Imus Longganisa”, which is more on the tangy garlic side and boost with the saltiness that you would ask for more. Cook in al dente spaghetti pasta mixed with olive oil and “Imus Longganisa oil”, seasoned with the punch of salt, pepper and a pinch of basil.. All is well done!  Next is the “Dylan’s Burger” a blockbuster burger compose of 1 pound heavy meat patty, tomato, button mushroom, cucumber, onions and cheese. I know after this you’ll be already full. It’s is also served with French fries on the side. We also try their different twist on “Calzone Pizza”, served as a square pie slice in eight, features are ground fork, minced ham, bacon, and tomato sauce lastly generous top cheese woolaah grab one! Let’s move on, it’s dessert time, we ordered their homemade blueberry cheese cake, ohh lala I may say! Top with real goodness of blueberries and red cherry. To finish it up we also try their homemade chocolate cake one of the finest I guess.

The Drinks
Since this is a resto bar, they serve varieties of drinks- from juices-beers-cocktails-hard liquors-wine. What I always order here is my relaxing hot cup juice of calamansi where I can pair with their appetizer-main course-desserts. A simple “Calamsi Juice” that can be serve in hot or cold, base on your fondness.  We also try their “Blue Margarita”, “Zombie”, “Gintonic” etc. It’s good and made while you wait. You can also watch it how they mix it by yourself at the bar side- a little entertainment of the bartenders.

The place is for everyone, you can have a party drink with your friends, a homely dinner with your family, a romantic date with your partners. A sure visit is a memory of a lifetime.
